The fine print, in plain English

Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Ranger Paralegal Services website (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. What this Site is

This Site describes the legal document preparation and self-help services offered by Ranger Paralegal Services. The information on it is general and for convenience only.

Not legal advice. Nicole DeJarlais is a paralegal, not an attorney, and Ranger Paralegal Services is not a law firm. Nothing on this Site is legal advice, and using the Site or contacting us does not create an attorney–client relationship. See our Non-Attorney Disclaimer for details.

2. Contacting us through the Site

When you send a message through our contact form, you are simply requesting information. Please do not send sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, account numbers, or confidential case details) through the form. A request does not obligate either of us to anything until we agree, in writing, on a specific service and fee.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Intellectual property

The Site's design, text, logo, and graphics are owned by Ranger Paralegal Services or its provider and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse them without written permission.

5. Third-party services & availability

The Site is hosted on third-party infrastructure and may occasionally be unavailable, slow, or interrupted. We provide the Site on an "as is" and "as available" basis and do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ranger Paralegal Services is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost profits, lost data, or loss of business, arising from your use of the Site. Your use of the Site is at your own risk.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here. Your continued use of the Site means you accept the updated terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
